We pay this full-time Journeyman position top pay of $32.00-$52.00/hour. As a Journeyman Carpenter, your primary tasks are to manage medical suite remodels, perform demolition, and re-build to customer specifications. This includes all structures from cabinets and countertops to flooring, lighting, and door assemblies. You use your carpentry skills to perform other tasks too, such as framing, drywall, plan reading, and more. All your interactions are friendly, you keep your workspace clean, and you assist wherever else you can. If you can do that and meet the following requirements, we’d love to have you join our team. We are looking to hire and train a journeyman candidate based out of the San Diego area.
The following items are requirements for this position:
- Valid Drivers license
- Reliable transportation
- Able to pass a background check.
- Able to pass a drug test.
- No DUI’s
- Proficiency and knowledge of carpentry, metal stud framing, and drywall is highly
appreciated. - Basic carpentry tools are needed
- Experience coordinating with sub-contractors, knowledge of construction
plans/documents, and the ability to learn in fast paced environment is highly
considered. - Knowledge of Infection Control, and general hospital related construction
procedure is appreciated. - Computer skills a plus.
